Falktron at KI-X 2026 in Berlin – The Works Council as AI Pathfinder

On 18 November at the KI-X HR Convention in Berlin: a talk and a lab on how employers and works councils come together early in AI projects.

Every AI Project Has Two Sides

Employers and works councils often say the same thing and hear something different: one side says “transparency”, the other hears “control”. On 18 November, at the KI-X HR Convention in the Colosseum Filmtheater in Berlin, we show how both sides come together early – so that the brake becomes a steering wheel.

Both sessions are held in German.

Our article Works Council and AI summarizes where the works council has co-determination rights when it comes to AI and what the EU AI Act changes from December 2027.

Talk: “The Works Council as AI Pathfinder”

18 November 2026, 10:50–11:20, Saal 7

How knowledge transfer succeeds through co-determination: Matthias Mut shows how employers and works councils plan an AI project together from the start.

Lab: “Is Your Works Council Slowing Down AI? How It Becomes Your Ally”

18 November 2026, 13:55–15:05, Saal 4

With Matthias Mut and Sebastian Schweppe. In the lab, participants play “The Other Side” and translate real cases between the employer side and the works council side.

After KI-X, you will find the slides and the dictionary for the other side here.

Found a prize card?

Some booklets from the talk and the lab contain a prize card. Taking part is free of charge and requires nothing in return. Book your first meeting and enter the code from the card by 31 January 2027 at the latest. The meetings will take place by 31 March 2027, online or on site by arrangement. The prize applies to your organization, is not transferable and cannot be paid out in cash.

What does your project need – and where does the works council sit at the table? Our service AI Rollout with the Works Council describes how we translate between employer and works council. The fastest way is a direct conversation: Book a 30-minute intro call.

We were already at KI-X in 2025 – here is our review. Our guest article in Human Resources Manager explains why experiential knowledge is the overlooked legacy system.
