AI meets Payroll – Workshop at the alga Regional Conference in Cologne

On November 3 and 4, 2025, the alga Regional Conference organized by Datakontext and Lohn & Gehalt Magazine took place in Cologne. The event brought together professionals from the fields of payroll processing and human resources to discuss current developments and challenges.

Falktron GmbH was present as a speaker – with a clear focus: How can artificial intelligence concretely support payroll processing?

Workshop: "AI meets Payroll"

Artificial intelligence opens new possibilities for payroll processing – from automating recurring processes to intelligent data analysis. In our workshop "AI meets Payroll", we explored exactly these potentials together with participants.

Matthias Mut provided expert insights and guided the discussion with subject-matter expertise. Markus Stier moderated the exchange in a focused manner. Together, the group developed concrete use cases, drawing on the diverse experiences of the participants.

The workshop was deliberately designed to be interactive: instead of one-way presentations, the focus was on collaboratively developing practical ideas. Participants brought their own payroll challenges to the table and jointly developed approaches that can be directly implemented in their companies.

Results and Value for Participants

The workshop demonstrated that AI in payroll processing is no longer a topic of the future but can already be applied concretely today. Participants particularly benefited from:

Conclusion

The alga Regional Conference once again confirmed: the demand for practical AI consulting in payroll processing is growing. Companies are looking for concrete approaches to meaningfully integrate AI into their existing payroll processes – without losing sight of compliance and data protection.
